Lumia Fever.Loving Windows 8 !

Recently,I bought Nokia Lumia 520 which I think was the awesome phone which I had ever brought.According to me some key features because of which I chose Nokia Lumia.

1. Awesome looks and body panel.(Especially black)
2. All apps are almost there which are the most required which I primarily use (Skype,Whatsapp,Gmail,Outlook,Hotmail,Office,Hike,Wechat,Linkedin etc many more)
3. Nokia music.Would like to highlight this feature.This was the main reason to buy Nokia Lumia.They have a huge music library where you can download any original tracks and build your songs collection within a matter of seconds.
4. Games do work well on the 512 mb ram of mine.I played asphalt,temple run,angry birds which run without lag and was a smooth experience
5. Last but not the least,Touch factor is excellent.

Overall,I would suggest you all to go for Nokia Lumia 520 or any series according to your budget.A truly awesome phone and you will never regret buying it.

How to fix the msvcr100.dll error when installing SQL Developer

The latest version of SQL Developer supports jdk version upto 1.6.

So,if you have jdk version 1.7 and not in mood to again download jdk 1.6 and still want to make SQL Developer work,follow these simple steps:

1.Install jdk 1.7.

2.Go to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_10\bin and then search msvcr100.dll file.

3.Then,just copy that file and paste into sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin folder.

4.Click sqldeveloper.exe.Give the path of executable java file(navigate to jdk1.7.0_10\bin-automatically show the executable file) and you are done.

Let me know if this trick work for you.

How to install MySQL Community Server Database in Windows 7 complete tutorial

MySQL is one of the most popular and open source database used by many large and small scale organizations.It is reliable and a organized database to maintain all your data in one place which can be accessed centrally from anywhere.Recently,It has been acquired by the most renowned company Oracle.

Below are the complete steps of installing MySQL community server database which is an open source database.You can use this for your production environment as well.

1.      Download the MySQL Community Server from the link below.
              http://www.mysql.com/downloads/installer/5.6.html

      Click on Download and then save to your computer the msi installer.(full installer 170.6M)

2. Double click on the mysql-installer-5.5.21.0.msi Windows Installer Package.
3. You will see the first Welcome screen. Click on Install MySQL Products:

4. Accept License Agreement and click on Next:

5. If you have access to the internet, then click on Execute to check if there are newer versions of the products:

6. Choose the type of the setup. I am selecting Full as I want all features to be included:

7. Requirements is checked and in this case, Microsoft Visual C++ runtime is missing. Click Execute to download the missing requirement:

8. Accept the License Terms and click on Install:

9. A final requirement check. Click on Next to proceed:

10. List of products to be installed is displayed. Click on Execute to proceed:

11. Progress Summary is displayed:

12. When all products are installed successfully, click on Next:

13. Products which require configuration is displayed. Click Next to proceed:

14. Choose the type of the configuration which you require for the MySQL server. Read the description for each type to learn about the differences. I am choosing Developer Machine since I am going to use it with other products and I want the minimal memory. Click Next to proceed:

15. Default Network and Security settings are displayed. Enter root account password and click Next to continue:

16. Confirm the configuration overview and click Next:

17. Products are going to be installed and a completion message is displayed in the end. Click on Start MySQL Workbench to start working with MySQL. Click Finish:

18. MySQL Workbench will start. As this is the first time, click on New Connection to create a connection to the database so that we can query:

19. Type in the connection name: MydbConnection and click on OK:

20. You will be prompted with root account password. Enter and click OK:

21. Now you can see your database objects on the left side and you can write your SQL query in the middle box.

How to root your Lenovo Ideapad K1 Tablet and install Android JellyBean 4.1.2 on it

Lenovo Ideapad K1 (Wi-Fi) Tablet came with a stock Honey Comb OS which has now become outdated.But you can install Jellybean on it as well.Below are the steps of installing JellyBean on your Lenovo Ideapad K1 tablet.

1.Download Android JellyBean 4.1.2 from any of the links below:

3. Final Installation Steps:
              
                    1.After downloading JellyBean 4.1.2 and Gapps,just extract them to your computer.

2. Power off your Lenovo Ideapad K1 Tablet.

3. Press and hold both the Vol + and Vol - buttons.

4. While holding both Volume buttons power the tablet on.

5. The screen should go black and the two front LED's should remain lit. You are now in APX mode.

6. Connect your device to USB

7. It will prompt to install the apx driver.Install the APX drivers from the 'drivers' folder in your download JellyBean above.It has folder in it called drivers.drivers-->usbpc--> just give the path when you will be promt to install the APX driver.

8. Double click the 'flash-windows.bat' file and your installtion will be started.

MTNL worst ISP with an uneducated customer support.

MTNL-The leading internet service provider as they say has really disappointed me with their services.First and foremost important thing to notice is their worst customer support who are illiterate people who don't know technicalities of internet at all.MTNL customer support,as I have heard so far from many of my friends say that these are aged people who answer to customer internet issues over phone and don't know any technicality about internet.

I have been using MTNL for past 6 months now.I am a gamer,blogger as well internet savy.I need my internet to be stable and up always.But this MTNL services really has disappointed me.Really,Its a government organization and people working there just dont care about our problems.Their customer support always talk rudely on phone.No ethics,No manners whatsoever.

Recently,faced a problem of High Pings in playing Dota 2 (online battle/strategy game).I was getting high pings like 300 ms and was lagging heavily.So,I called up their customer support and told about the issue that I am getting high pings while playing online games.Then,in reply I get to hear "What is Ping?'.Can you belive this?.This is MTNL techincal support for you friends.Worst,Unmannered and Uneducated.

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE CHOOSING MTNL AS YOUR ISP.

BECAUSE YOU WILL SUFFER AFTER CHOOSING THEM.
