    1. Hi Mubeena.

Which OS you using in your laptop?

If you using Windows XP,it wont detect.

Please Windows 7 or Windows 8.

No need to install gapps seperately for this JellyBean. It comes along with it.

  16. Which OS are you using?

If you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8,it will prompt you to install the APX drivers.

Then, you have to click on that and browse to the folder where the apx drivers are and it will install automatically.

    Let me know

  18. This tablet was the biggest mistake in my life.lol

This tablet has a buggy hardware. Now,I want to sell this.

Also, this tablet is so heavy that you cannot hold it in hand for over 2 minutes.Your hands will start to pain.lol

Anyways, solution to your problem is you have to uninstall some unwanted apps which are slowing down the tablet.

Also, when tablets wait for 1 min to load all the processes, then start working on tablet.

  20. I downloaded And 4.1.1 from http://goo.im/devs/khanning/K1_JB_AOSP.zip, This did not have the APX driver and I did get APX driver installed. However, the K1 does not prompt me for anything. The device is connected to my Windows 8 pc. I have tried several times including rebooting PC as well as K1 tablet a couple of times.

    Thanks.

  27. HI Mario Callegari, I am having the same issue. My installation also stopped at the same step
"Formatting partition 12 UDA please wait.. done!" . I had installed ICS earlier and I was trying to install Jelly bean. Kindly let me know if you are getting a solution.

    Thanks in Advance,

  28. I was able to fix my issue. It was because of the APX driver. Mine was having an APX driver which was installed earlier. I switched on the tab in recovery mode, uninstalled the driver from my computer, switched off the tablet. Switched on again in recovery mode, installed APX driver and ran the bat file. It worked fine for me. I got this from the link below.

  29. Coming late to the party I know, but I have been trying to install JB on my K1 and am stuck with the APX driver problem -- third party inf does not contain digital signature. I have downloaded numerous packages recommended here and on other sites and forums all with the same result. Any help would be appreciated.

  30. Just want to clarify and wanted to be 100% sure. I have Lenovo K1 and bricked 2x but I was able to revive the tablet. Now I am running a STOCK HC 3.2.1 120109. It is not rooted yet and I want to use this Khanning's JB AOSP. Because the last time I install this JB AOSP I was rooted and I think I should be rooted. Question, does flashing this Khanning's JB AOSP coming from unrooted STOCK HC 3.2.1 work? I am scared that my device would brick again. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

  31. Same problem as Mario, except it ends at
Formatting partition 9 CAC please wait.. done!

Tablet also only says same as Mario's

Other difference noted in the CMD.EXE is:

    after Using blob v1.1.57813
there are unrecognizable characters. I have tried downloading the CM starter several times and on different machines but still get this same issue.

    Please help. Thanks.

  32. Hello, buddy.

Thank you very much for the information.

Here I am, three years later, trying to upgrade my IdeaPad K1 to a latest Android OS.
I have tried EVERYTHING. I followed the instructions very carefuly. I updated my driver on both my Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 computers, put the tablet on the recovery mode through the +- and power, the computers recognized the new hardware, double clicked on the flash-win.bat file, and it just ejected the tablet, but nothing happened on the actual tablet.

I also tried installing the android SDK tool, went to developer options and checked the USB debugging option, ran CMD as administrator, and I got this message "C:\windows\system32>adb shell k1recovery
'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file."

I REALLY, REALLY want to be able to upgrade my tablet. Can you please help me with this?

    Thank you very much!
